1. Offline Data Storage

All user data remains on your device:

Emergency Contacts: Stored locally in app storage
Default Earthquake Data: Pre-loaded regional risk information
App Settings: Saved in device storage

2. Push Notifications

Uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (anonymous token)
Only sends: Earthquake alerts & critical updates
No user tracking or profiling

3. Google Maps Usage

Displays markers for earthquake locations
Does not access your GPS location
Requires internet connection for map tiles only

4. Data Security

Emergency contacts encrypted using Android Keystore
No servers to hack - your data never leaves device
